Oh, Travel

On June 20th, I left Seattle. Here’s the journey I took: Bellingham– Missoula– Cabin on the south fork of the Teton at the foot of Ear Mountain along the Rocky Mountain Front–East Dummerston, Vermont–Mount Monadnock, NH– Williamstown–North Adams–Boston–Frankfurt–Toulouse–Pechabou–Aubay–Montpelier–Provence, basically–Nice–Bastia on Corsica–Ortinola on Corsica–Livorno in Italy–Florence–Rome–The coast from Florence all the way to Toulouse again–Tuscany, basically–Marrakesh–Fez–Merzouga–the Sahara desert–Ourzazette Morocco–Marrakesh–Essouaira–London–Chicago–Home.

As the places clipped along, so did the people. I’d forgotten the emotional impact of being with so many people I love, one after the other.

And then, I had the pleasure of leading thirteen wonderful young colleagues through Morocco.

The sweet travelers

Ah, travel. You fill me up.
